Thanks ~ we had such a rainy spring, I never thought I'd look forward to rain again. The humidity finally broke and the temp dropped about 12 degrees in a half hour. I stood on the porch of my office with my arms outstretched just soaking up the breeze off the river!

Yes, I survived the deluge! One of my sons is camping up at Voyageurs National Park, so I'm wondering how that's going (no cell service, apparently.) The other was returning from an overnight in Webster, WI when the worst of the storm hit. (He's fine, but it wasn't a fun experience.)

We do have a tree down in the backyard at the house (where my erstwhile spouse and the kids are) but that's because Xcel Energy showed up yesterday and said it "had to come down. Now! And we're doing it now!" They will cut it down but they don't clear the wood that's left, so we'll be doing some chainsaw work soon!

Since my daughter is in Germany with her mother, and I know that they're getting on a train back to Berlin in a few hours in order to fly home, I actually didn't have to worry about them!
